CHECKING YOUR ENGINE OIL LEVEL IS FREE

I need a rebuilt Subaru Engine. My son/daughter/wife/myself ran the car out of oil. Enginesus gets this call several times every month. We specialize in Subaru Rebuilt Engines, but this problem occurs with all makes and models. And there is no valid reason for this to happen. It’s a result of not checking your oil. Prior to 1980, nearly all gas stations were full service. You would sit in your car while a service attendant would pump your gas and check your oil. Because of this, running out of oil was a very rear occurrence. Then came the self service gas station. With that, you have to get out of your car and pump your own gas. But the the checking the oil part seems to have been almost totally dropped out. And it’s so simple to do. While your gas is filling, grab a couple of paper towels that are offered between the pumps. Open the hood of your car and check your oil. If it is low, add some. If you don’t know how to check your oil, ask someone.

Most people that know how would be happy to show you. Check your oil every time that you get gas. You will cut down the probability of running out of oil to virtually zero. Running out of oil will probably be very expensive. Checking your engine oil level is free.
